1. About Buzzpot
Buzzpot is a macOS app for running AI coding agents (such as Claude Code, Codex, and Grok CLI) on a shared canvas. Your projects stay on your Mac, and agents run through command-line tools you install yourself.
We may change, improve, or remove parts of Buzzpot over time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Buzzpot. If you are under 18, use it only with the permission of a parent or guardian where the law requires it.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code we send to it.
You agree to:
- use an email address you control,
- keep your devices and sign-in codes secure,
- not share your account with other people,
- tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
You can connect up to 3 Macs and up to 10 phones to one account. You can see and remove devices in the app.
4. Online services
- Updates. The app asks our server which version to install and downloads them from our storage.
- Remote control. When you turn it on, you can use Buzzpot from your phone's browser. Messages between your phone and your Mac are encrypted with a key that your Mac shows in a QR code; our server passes them along but can't read them and doesn't keep them. Your Mac must be on and online.
- Notifications. When Remote control is on, your phone can get a notification with a card's name when an agent finishes or needs your answer.
We try to keep these services available, but we don't guarantee they will always work.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Buzzpot or our services to break the law or the rights of others,
- try to access other people's accounts, devices, or data,
- interfere with, overload, probe, or attack our servers,
- bypass sign-in, device limits, or rate limits,
- use our services to spread malware, spam, or abusive material.
6. Your content and agents
Your projects, code, canvases, and conversations stay on your Mac. We don't claim any rights to them.
Agents work through third-party tools and accounts that you set up. Their providers' terms apply to what you send them. You are responsible for what agents do on your computer and in your projects.
7. Beta and pricing
Buzzpot is free during the public beta, planned to last until January 31, 2027. Before it ends, we'll publish how Buzzpot will be sold and update these Terms. We won't charge you without your explicit purchase.
8. Privacy
How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by email. See Delete your account.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
11. Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts our services or other users at risk.
You can stop using Buzzpot at any time.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our services are provided "as is" and "as available". Our liability is limited as described in sections 8 and 9 of the License Agreement.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Buzzpot after the change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes go to the competent courts of Serbia, unless the consumer law of your country requires otherwise.
