Buzzpot License Agreement (EULA)

This License Agreement ("License") is between you and Nikolai Skorobogatko, Belgrade, Serbia ("we", "us"), the maker of Buzzpot. It covers the Buzzpot desktop app, its updates, and the provider definitions it downloads ("Buzzpot" or the "Software").

By installing or using Buzzpot, you agree to this License. If you don't agree, don't install or use it.

Your account and our online services (sign-in, Remote control, notifications) are covered by the Terms of Use. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

1. Beta

Buzzpot is in public beta. During the beta it's free, and there is nothing to buy.

The beta is planned to last until January 31, 2027. Before it ends, we'll publish how Buzzpot will be sold and update this License. Your projects stay on your Mac whatever you decide.

Beta versions may contain bugs and may change or lose features.

2. What you may do

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  • install and use Buzzpot on up to three (3) Macs that you own or control,
  • use it for personal or commercial work, including work for your employer or clients,
  • connect phones to your Macs through Remote control (up to 10 phones per account; phones don't count toward the three Macs).

To move Buzzpot to a new Mac when you already have three, sign out of one of them or remove it in the app.

3. Sign-in

  • Buzzpot needs an account to work. The app checks your account with our server when it starts and about once a day.
  • If you are offline, Buzzpot keeps working for up to 30 days after the last check, plus a 14-day grace period. After that, it needs to connect once to continue.
  • If we stop developing Buzzpot, we will remove this requirement (see section 4).

4. If we stop developing Buzzpot

If we publicly announce that we have stopped developing Buzzpot, then within 90 days of that announcement we will:

  1. release a final version of Buzzpot that works without sign-in, and
  2. publish the Buzzpot source code in a public repository under the Apache License 2.0 with the Commons Clause License Condition v1.0.

That license lets anyone use, modify, and share Buzzpot, including inside companies. It does not allow selling Buzzpot, or a paid product or service whose value comes entirely or substantially from Buzzpot (including paid hosting or support for it).

The announcement will be made on buzzpot.app and by email to everyone with a Buzzpot account.

This commitment is part of this License, survives its termination, and stays in every future version of this License.

5. What you may not do

You may not:

  • sell, rent, lend, sublicense, or transfer the Software, except as this License allows,
  • share your account with other people,
  • remove or bypass sign-in or device limits,
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except where applicable law allows it despite this restriction,
  • use the Software to break the law or the rights of others.

Once the source code is published under section 4, its license replaces these restrictions for that code.

6. Third-party agents and tools

Buzzpot runs AI coding agents through command-line tools you install yourself, such as Claude Code, Codex, and Grok CLI. Those tools, their accounts, their pricing, and what they send to their providers are governed by their own terms. We don't control them.

Agents can read and change files and run commands on your computer. You decide which agents to run, in which folders, and with which permissions, and you are responsible for the results, including changes to your code and data. Keep backups and use version control.

Buzzpot includes open-source components, which are provided under their own licenses.

7. Ownership

Buzzpot and everything in it belong to us or our licensors. This License gives you the rights in section 2, not ownership. Your projects, code, canvases, and conversations are yours.

8. Warranty disclaimer

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Buzzpot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Buzzpot will be error-free, will work with every version of every agent CLI, or that agents will produce correct results.

This section doesn't limit rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived under the law of your country.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from Buzzpot or from what agents do through it.

Our total liability for any claim related to Buzzpot is limited to EUR 50.

10. Termination

This License ends automatically if you break it. When it ends, you must stop using Buzzpot and delete it. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive.

11. Governing law

This License is governed by the laws of Serbia, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes go to the competent courts of Serbia, unless the consumer law of your country requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update this License, for example when paid licenses launch. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. We won't take back the commitment in section 4.
